-2004: First Prize of the Society of Military Medicine, at the 20th Armed Forces Medical Congress, for the paper "EBV-DNA in the peripheral blood and HLA class II typing in Greek patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma".
-2004: Award from the Board of the Hellenic Society of Immunology, for the successful organization of the 15th European Congress of Immunology (EFIS 2003).
